My landlord informed me yesterday that he was selling the house that I am renting from him. He asked me if I was interested to buy it at RM115,000. I said I wasn't interested. Why? Because the house is not worth that much as it is in bad condition. There is a crack in the dining room wall and there are also cracks along the driveway. The roof leaks if there is a heavy rain, the back door is in bad state and so if the flush system and the piping. If I were to buy the house, I'd need at least RM20,000 to do the repairs. Besides, the houses in the neighbourhood are rented by people as hostels for male foreign workers. My house was broken into last year and I lost about RM15,000 of electronic equipment, cash and valuables. That is why I'd be silly to buy the house.
That was why my neighbours went with me to look at the houses in the housing area nearby to see if there were any for sale. I am fed up of renting a house and then having to be informed by the house owner that he has sold the house and that I need to move out within 3 months. So now I am forced to look for a house to buy within a space of a few months.
If I have to vacate the house before I find a suitable one that I like and that I can afford, I wonder if Puan Siti Arfah would allow me to 'tumpang' in the Rumah Pengetua in school. Heh! Heh! Heh!

I was just joking about the Pengetua's house. Very scary house. Got a lot of ghosts.
That's why I bought a house in Manjung. I just don't have the strength and energy to move house!
