Miss Cheah was given the task of helping to D.I.Y. the 1Malaysia Tanglung or Lanterns that would be used for the opening ceremony of the Malaysian Schools Games this Friday.  80 of the boys from my school will be taking part in the opening ceremony.  The lanterns will be part of the ceremony.
This morning she went and got the cardboard sized templates for the lanterns from the district education office in the morning and then Puan Asiah, Ustazah Roslina and Tuan Haji Hasnin helped to cut and then glue the lanterns into shape.  Tomorrow Cikgu Saiful would help to instal the lights.

The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Ipoh Stadium on Friday night and 10,000 students will be taking part and each school is making 7 lanternsI
