This afternoon, Puan Kamariah and I held a small ceremony to bid farewell to Puan Siti Kamariah or Puan CTK as she is fondly known. Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin, Puan Fatihah and Puan Hafizah are all away on duty as invigilators for the SPM examination. Cik Irma is on medical leave while both Cikgu Zainal and Cikgu Idzarif were preoccupied elsewhere. So that left the only two members of the English language department to present a gift from the teachers in the department to Puan CTK.
Puan CTK is sad to leave us as she has many fond memories of the school but she has to ask for the transfer to be with her husband who is attached to the Ministry of Defence in Kuala Lumpur. We wish her well and hope that she will be successful in her future undertakings.
