AGARWOOD

Puan Khairah contributed an Agarwood Plant to the school Herb Garden this morning.  In Malay, this plant is known as Pokok Gaharu.  Its scientific name is Aquilaria malaccensis.  Another name for Agarwood is Oodh.  The resin of this plant is used for incense and perfume.
Agarwood calms the nervous system, expels negative energies, brings alertness, relieves anxiety, invokes a sense of strength and peace and enhances cerebral functioning. It eases neurosis and obsessive behaviour and helps create harmony in your home.
