PS TEACHER MUST BE ON DUTY BEFORE LIBRARY CAN BE USED

Today is a Saturday and it is a holiday for Puan Asiah. However it is a replacement school day for the Chinese New Year holidays.

As Puan Asiah was not around to man the circulation counter and Ustazah Roslina had classes, we decided not to have counter service for today.

As for using the library for classes, it was decided during the Working Committee meeting that Puan Asiah or one of the library teachers must be on duty in the library before the class teacher can make use of the library. This is to prevent the property of the library being stolen since the subject teacher would be only paying attention to the class instead of minding the belongings of the library. On the other hand, the library assistant or library teacher would make it his/her responsibility to ensure that the property of the library is safe.

Therefore teachers who wish to use the library for teaching purposes when Puan Asiah is on leave or not around have to get Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin, Miss Cheah, Ustazah Roslina or any of the resource centre teachers to be on duty in order to make use of the place as they would be the ones responsible.
