VISIT TO CAMERON HIGHLANDS BY NILAM GROUP

Today the students of 4VE6 who had recorded the most amount of books read for the NILAM programme and their Bahasa Melayu teacher, Puan Asiah Ahmat, went on a study trip to Cameron Highlands as a reward for their effort.  For your information, all the 20 boys and girls in the class have already achieved the Jauhari Level for the reading programme.  Cik Azalilah and two students from her class who also achieved the Jauhari Level also went on the trip.  Accompanying them were Ustazah Siti Fauzana, Miss Cheah, Tuan Haji Hasnin and 6 Form 5 librarians.
The group started from Vokasma at 7.10 a.m.  The places they visited while at Cameron Highlands were Blue Valley Flower Farm, Green View Garden, Cameron Bharat Tea Plantations, Kea Farm and Big Red Strawberry Farm.  During the trip, the students learnt about the vegetables, plants and fruits grown in the highlands.  This was also a time for them to foster better relationships with each other.  It is hoped that all the students involved would also work towards achieving the Jauhari Level for the Rakan Pembaca Programme.

Thanks.
Transport was free. A couple of teachers sponsored the food for them. They used their own money to buy snacks and souvenirs.
