VISIT TO THE DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICE

We are in preparation for an Exhibition about the Twin Terror Diseases of Diabetes and Hypertension.  Besides the exhibition, we are also planning to invites a speaker from the Jabatan Kesihatan to give a talk to the students and teachers about Diabetis and Hypertension.  At the same time, we wish to request that the Health Department would send a team to give Health checks at our school for Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol.
I visited the Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Manjung with Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin this morning to get information on how to go about inviting the guest speaker and also the medical team for the Health Screening.  The officer who attended to me was Tuan Haji Mohd. Rais bin Mohd. Isa.  He told me how to go about writing to get approval.  I also got some posters and pamphlets for the exhibition from the department.  If everything goes well, the talk and health screening will be carried out the week after the short break.
