AN INSPIRING POEM

Source: fitprosarah.wordpress.com

About the poem:
Invictus which means unconquerable in Latin was written by William Ernest Henley (1849 - 1903) when he was lying in hospital undergoing treatmen treatment for bone Tuberculosis (TB) .  His condition was very serious and resulted in an amputation directly below his knee in order to save his life.
The theme of the poem is the will to survive in the face of a severe test.
