The celebrations for Teacher's Day in our school was carried out with much fanfare today. Early in the morning, the teachers and our special guest, the deputy chairman of the PTA, were escorted into the hall by girls carrying the Bunga Manggar and our Kompang Group.
After that there were the speeches followed by a slide show of the activities for Teacher's Day which took place last week. Then the teachers got up on stage to perform two songs, "Kami Guru Malaysia" and the theme song for this year's Teacher's Day celebration. After that there was a cake cutting ceremony by Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim, the super principal of our school. That ended the first part of the celebrations. There was a short break whereby the teachers were invited to breakfast at the canteen.
