The picture above was not manipulated which means the people inside were not specially chosen to advertise the 1Malaysia concept.  Miss Cheah was sending Fawazz to the bus station, Sharveen back to his house in Sitiawan and Faris to the bank. 
For your information, Sharveen is a mixture of Indian and Punjabi, Fawazz is a mixture of Malay and Chinese while Faris tells me that his paternal grandfather was Chinese.  Miss Cheah is obviously Chinese.  And there you have 1 Malaysia seated inside 1 car.
