EARTHQUAKE FELT BY OUR TEACHERS AND STAFF TOO

A major earthquake of magnitude 7.8 shook the Indonesian island of Sumatra, the U.S. Geological Survey said Tuesday. REUTERS/U.S.

Yesterday morning I heard Cikgu Jalaluddin having a conversation with Cikgu Ishak Ismail and Mr Nyanasekaran about the earthquake above.  It seems that when Cikgu Jalal was performing his morning prayers at the mosque he felt the earth moving.  Similarly Encik Megat also said that he felt the vibrations when he was praying.  There were a few other teachers and staff who had felt the tremors as well.
I didn't feel a thing as I live in Sitiawan.
