VOKASMA CROSS COUNTRY RUN

Larian Vokasma was successfully carried out this morning. The students were gathered at the school field at 7.30 a.m. for a briefing and after that they started warming up for the cross country run. First to run were the boys. They took their places at the starting line at 8.00 a.m. and took off after Puan Siti Arfah gave them the signal. A while later the girls took their places and again they were started off by our super principal.

At every check-point there were teachers on duty and also at the finish line. Counters were also set up to record the points scored by the students who managed to complete the race within a certain period of time.

Enjoy the pictures of the cross country run below:

Probably not. Tonic water contains quinine, a malaria drug that’s also sometimes prescribed off-label to relieve nighttime leg cramps. But the Food and Drug Administration has warned against that use. And you’d have to drink liters of tonic water daily for weeks to get the amount of quinine usually used for cramps. What’s more, large amounts can cause blood disorders and have been linked to arrhythmias. A better approach if you get a leg cramp is to stretch and massage the affected muscle until the cramp goes away, usually within a few minutes.
