The young lady above, Tan Bing Xuan, suffers from a neurological movement disorder known as dystonia and has mobility and speech difficulties due to muscle contractions that cause her to have twisting and repetitive movements or abnormal postures. Despite her disabilities, Bing Xuan was able to score 10 straight As for last year's SPM examination, 8A+s and 2As.
Now this gritty girl is determined to realise her dream of becoming an accountant. That was why she and her mum made their way to the Matta Travel Fair in Ipoh to seek the help of Perak executive councillor Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon who was there to officiate a function.
By securing straight As in the SPM, this girl has already managed a gargantuan feat, handicap and all. Her determination and perseverance should really be an example to everyone to give their all in whatever they do to succeed.
I am sure the Malaysian Education authorities would do whatever they could to help this special girl achieve her dream.

From Tan Bing Xuan's example it is clear to us that God grants and give the strength to achieve what one wants no matter the circumstances with the correct attitude and effort.
With her condition Tan must have put in more than 100% effort!
She puts me to shame.
May be we can show her condition and achievement to our students in the library as a very good example for them.
