Today marks the start of the Manjung District Football Tournament for Secondary Schools. The moment I reached school this morning, I saw our footballers waiting for the school bus at the pavilion. They would be going to the Sports Centre at the Majlis Daerah Manjung or more commonly known as the stadium for their first match.
There will be three venues for the tournament: the MDM football field, the Vokasma field and the field at Dataran Muhibbah in Sitiawan.
Before our school football team left to do battle at the stadium, they posed for photographs with Cikgu Zulkifli Ismail, the senior assistant for co-curriculum. Good luck to them!
