During assembly this morning, Cikgu Zulkifli Ismail, the senior assistant for co-curriculum gave a speech on the importance of involvement in co-curriculum to the students. He mentioned that when he was a student, he represented his school for gymnastics and became the state champion for two consecutive years. He was in gymnastics because the coach did not choose him to be in the football team because of his small size. However, he did not become discouraged and decided to concentrate on gymnastics and became very successful. Similarly, he mentioned that our senior assistant, Ustaz Mohd. Lotpi bin Razali, who is also small in stature is a successful sportman. His recent achievement was winning the bowling tournament for Perak Voktec.
