Since the beginning of last year, we at the library have been trying to get all the students to borrow books to read. In 2009, many of the students were issued with library cards. Actually, it is compulsory for them to have a card each. However, there were some who simply refused to buy the cards. There were also a few who had lost their cards but they are the ones who usually go and see Puan Asiah to get a new one, like the student above.
This year we are going all out to make sure that all the students have a library card. We have already informed the Form 4 students to pay RM1.00 for the card and also provide a passport sized photograph of themselves for us to do the processing. In order to achieve ISO certication, all the students must have a card each and all of them should be active borrowers of books.
