The assembly for this morning was conducted in the English language. The teacher on duty was Cikgu Idzarif. As usual there was a slot for public speaking by a student, Mohd. Harith from 5VE2. Puan Kamariah Sulaiman, the senior teacher for languages, addressed the assembly this morning by encouraging everyone to speak in English and also giving tips on improving their proficiency. She also touched on the government's policy of upholding the Malay language and strengthening the English language. Before she ended her speech, she requested that the prayers in English that were recited at the beginning by one of the prefects be repeated as it was not too clear and some people could not understand what was said.
