FARMING PROJECT FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

When I went to SMK Seri Samudera to take photographs of Cik Ainon and Puan Lim giving a talk to the Form 3 students for the Outreach Programme,  I saw that were classes for children with special needs. From what I observed, most of the students in this group were mentally challenged and were assigned to specially trained teachers.
Our student, Sayed, who went on the Roadshow with us is seen posing with one of these special needs students. He is involved in the Farming Project that has been set up by the school. In the morning, he and some of his classmates would go and tend to the vegetable plots.

The spinach planted by the special needs students on sale at 50 sen a bunch.
