SPREAD SOME RAYA CHEER FOR THE NEEDY CHILDREN AND OLD FOLKS

It is that time of the year when a few of the teachers and I help to collect funds to buy Hari Raya clothes for the orphans under the care of Ustaz Syed.  So far 4 teachers have come forward to hand over their contributions to buy new clothes for the orphans and poor children.  The amount I have collected so far is RM300.00.  At the same time, we have also prepared a donation box at the Ramadhan Exhibition.  The amount collected will only be known when we open the box on Friday, the 19th of August, 2011.
We will be bringing 23 orphans and needy children to the shops to buy new Baju Melayu, Baju Kurung and shoes on the 22nd and 23rd of August.  As usual, Cikgu Musthafa and his gang from the Workshop will help to ferry the children from the pondok to the shops.  A few of the teachers will be there to help the children choose their new clothes.
Sooo ... I am asking everyone to kindly contribute to the funds so that the children will get new clothes and the needy senior citizens will get goodie bags for Raya.
