Cikgu Ishak Salasa celebrated his birthday today. He was born on 6 July, 1967. I gave him a little surprise this morning by presenting him with a birthday cake. The students in my Civics class sang him two birthday songs, one in English and the other in Malay. Cikgu Ishak said he was very touched as he said that only for his forty-fourth birthday did he get to celebrate in such a way.
Well, here is wishing good health and happiness to my dear friend and colleague. I am sure that his wife and daughter will be celebrating with him tonight.
