The Teacher's Day celebration is being celebrated in Sekolah Menengah Teknik Seri Manjung today. There were competitions involving the teachers and staff during the weekend. This morning there were competitions for Congkak, Chess, Batu Seremban and Netball.
A special assembly is being held in the hall to celebrate the day with the senior assistant and principal reading messages from the director of education and the minister of education. The teachers gave a performance of the songs Kami Guru Malaysia and theme song for this year's Teacher's Day, "Guru Penjana Transformasi Pendidikan Negara". There were also performances by the students and the teachers. This was followed by a prize giving ceremony.
