Our contingent to the MSSM Opening Ceremony also played a part in achieving a record for the Malaysian Guinness Book of Malaysian Records for the most lighted 1Malaysian lanterns. It was indeed a stunning sight to see all the lanterns being lit after the lights in the stadium were switched off after the Deputy Prime Minister had officially declared the Games open. There was also a spectacular fireworks show.
