RESOURCE CENTRE WEEK ACTIVITY: MOVIE

This afternoon there was supposed to be a screening of the movie, "Gol dan Gincu" for the girl students but unfortunately I couldn't get hold of the DVD or VCD.  I had gone to a few shops in Ipoh and Sitiawan but it was not available.  I tried getting Shaolin soccer but it too was not available.  It seems that the movie has been shown some years back and the shops usually do not keep stock of them. 
The 24 girls who turned up for the movie session watched a Kung Fu movie starring Brunei-born actor, Wu Chun instead.  Initially there were protests from the girls when they found out that they were not going to watch "Gol dan Gincu" and was shown a Chinese Kung Fu Movie.  However, at the end of the session the girls told me that they enjoyed the movie after all.  I had watched the movie before and found it very interesting and entertaining.  That was why I decided to show it to the girls.
